Mum-of-two Theresa Queen and her youngest child, Maisie, made and boxed up 65 cakes on World Down Syndrome Day.

The pair helped to spread feel-good vibes by leaving the treats on their doorstep for neighbours to take.

Theresa, who owns her own mobile cleaning business, Queen Clean, said: "People need a bit of positivity in these hard times and we just wanted to help make them smile.

"There are lots of people doing good stuff and it's just lovely."

The mother and daughter also put on their aprons to mark an event that is close to their hearts - World Down Syndrome Day.

The condition causes a level of learning disability and occurs in people who are born with an extra chromosome.

"It's very important to raise awareness of Down's syndrome, as many people don't understand it," Theresa added.

"I didn't know anyone with it before I had Maisie. Lots of my friends were frightened of it but not any more.

"If anyone asks me about it, I teach them what I know and tell them it's not scary.

"Life is a bit different for us - but that's all."
