A radiographer took 'sexually explicit' photographs of himself while on duty..

William Smethurst took the obscene snaps while in his work uniform in a 'clinical' area of the Blackpool Victoria Hospital, a disciplinary hearing was told.
The Health and Care Professions Tribunal Service (HCPTS) heard that Smethurst denied the allegation when he was quizzed by hospital bosses.
The HCPTS conduct and competence committee accused Smethurst of being 'dishonest'.
A report on the hearing said: "Your conduct was dishonest, in that you knew that what you said in the interview was not true."
He was suspended until later this month but the committee decided to extend his suspension for a further two months.
In February, when the HCPTS called Smethurst to tell him about the hearing this month, the call had to be 'terminated' due to "due to the language the registrant used".
A spokesperson for HCPTS said the order had been extended for another hearing to be held 'when this matter can be further considered'.
They said: "Given the current suspension order is due to expire, the requirement for it to be reviewed before its expiry, and the overarching need to protect the public, the panel decided to extend the suspension order for a period of two months."
In an unrelated incident this month a nurse at the Vic was suspended after locking a female colleague in a room as part of a 'training' session where he tried to kiss her.
A panel of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) heard Andrew Paul Henson propositioned colleagues, made sexual innuendos and made the workplace an uncomfortable place to be.
The panel said his actions were unprofessional and a breach of professional boundaries.
