The temporary roles are needed to support older people or adults with disabilities, in residential care or supported living through the Covid pandemic this winter.
As well as care roles, the authority is also looking to recruit cleaning staff, driver attendants and passenger assistants.
Experience is not necessary as training will be given - more details on the roles available and how to apply can be found here.
These are the roles currently available with Lancashire County Council
5. Cleaning Operative
The role: To keep residential care homes and other care settings clean and safe for residents | Salary: £9.30 per hour
6. Driver Attendant
The role: To transport passengers with disabilities and sensory impairments, ensure they are comfortable when travelling and safely assisted on and off the vehicle | Salary: £9.81 per hour.
7. Passenger Assistant
The role: To work as part of a team with the Driver Attendant, to ensure passengers are transported safely, and operating the tailgate lift so people can get on and off the vehicle safely | Salary: £9.30 per hour
