"I couldn’t wish for a more welcoming team of midwifes" - Your reaction to Channel 5's new show filmed in Preston
Last night saw the start of a new fly-on-the wall documentary filmed in Preston's RPH maternity unit.
'Maternity Ward’ follows the real-life, journey of expectant parents and the staff who care for them on Royal Preston Hospital’s maternity unit.

Here's what some of you had to say after the first episode..
I had my child at RPH 12 years ago. The majority of the midwives and nurses I dealt with were lovely! (Choi and Heather the main ones....superb!) Although I had 2 midwives after I gave birth that, well let’s just say they should’ve chosen a different profession imo...both called Kath, funny what you remember!
Collette Newsham
I couldn’t fault the team at preston my boy is a week and a half old, if it wasn’t for the great care and the team of midwifes and doctors we both wouldn’t be here! Amazing place x
