The latest Government data has revealed where cases of Covid were still rising across Preston, Chorley and South Ribble as the region moved into Tier 3.

The figures, from Public Health England, show which neighbourhoods saw an increase in cases for the seven days to December 3, 2020.

Preston, Chorley and South Ribble moved into Tier 3 along with the rest of Lancashire following the national lockdown on December 2.

Seven–day rates are expressed per 100,000 population and are calculated by dividing the seven day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.
