Earlier this month (March 8) schools returned to face-to-face education, and people were allowed to exercise with one person from outside of their family or support bubble.
From Monday, March 29, people will be given more freedom including being able to meet outdoors, play sport with friends outdoors and travel more freely.
Here are some of the key changes you can expect from Monday, and the things you will have to wait a little longer for.
1. You'll be able to meet outdoors
You'll be able to meet up with friends and family outdoors, including private gardens, with either six people (rule of six), or two households.
2. Playing sports with friends isback on
Outdoor sports facilities will be able to open, including tennis, basketball courts and open air swimming pools. Which means you can get together with friends to play organised outdoor sports.
3. Stay at home rule will end
While thestay at home rule will end on March 29, however, the government is still encouraging people to work from home and avoidtravel at the busiest times and routes.
4. You still can't go on holiday
Holidays abroad will not be allowed other than for a small number of permitted reasons, however, the government has launched a new taskforce to review global travel which will report on April 12.
