Preston has now been in a lockdown for over three weeks - but is it working?

Since mid-January the rate of positive Covid cases per 100,000 people in Preston has been generally falling, according to Government figures.

The latest figures show 11 out of 17 neighbourhoods have seen a drop in infections.

Here we reveal which neighbourhoods have seen the biggest drop in case rates in the seven days to January 21.

1. Haslam Park

Haslam Park has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 2%, from 712.2 to 697.1

Cadley & College has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 3%, from 469.7 to 457.0

Longsands has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 4%, from 362.9 to 347.8

Plungington & University has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 4%, from 445.2 to 429.3
