Covid vaccines: This is how many people have been vaccinated in Preston

Since the UK’s vaccination programme started in December more than 25 million people have already received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.

Official figures from NHS England now reveal how many people have been vaccinated in neighbourhoods across the country.

In Preston, 49,202 people had received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine between December 8, 2020 and March 14, 2021.

The uptake varies across neighbourhoods though.

Here we reveal how many people have been vaccinated in each area of Preston.

9. Ingol

2,190 people have been vaccinated in Ingol. This represents 46% of people aged 16 and over in the area.

2,479 people have been vaccinated in Lea & Marina. This represents 47% of people aged 16 and over in the area.

4,037 people have been vaccinated in Ashton-on-Ribble & Larches. This represents 48% of people aged 16 and over in the area.

2,917 people have been vaccinated in Longsands. This represents 54% of people aged 16 and over in the area.
