A bakers-dozen of baby ducks made their debut at Elizabeth Saunders Nursery in New Longton after their mother made herself at home in one of the nests made by the children under the nursery’s climbing frame.

After taking a stroll around the playground with their mum, the ducklings made a dash to a nearby paddling pool where they got their feet wet for the first time.
