Mainstream theatre may be shut for now - but that hasn't stopped youngsters at one high school getting a star-studded education

The West End came to Penwortham as theatre and TV star Layton Williams hosted an energetic drama and dance workshop for pupils.

Bad Education actor Layton, who hails from nearby Bury, spent a day at Priory Academy putting Year 9, 10 and 11 pupils through their paces.
