Archbishop Temple prom: 12 pictures of sunshine, classic cars and designer dresses as Preston pupil enjoy end of term party

Pupils and staff from Archbishop Temple Church of England High School were in a celebratory mood on July 13 as the Year 11 leavers enjoyed their school prom at Barton Manor Hotel.

The venue was decorated with balloons in the school colours adorned with the school logo and school motto: 'Faith, Nurture and Service'.

A school spokesman said: “It was exciting to watch everyone arriving dressed up in smart suits and beautiful dresses.

"Parents and carers lined the drive awaiting the glamorous arrivals and pupils were greeted with a flute of fruit juice and invited to watch their friends arriving from the semi-circle balcony overlooking the drive.

"It was the perfect evening with the sun high in the sky as pupils walked down the red carpet and into the venue.”

Pupils had time to catch up with friends and staff before a three-course meal was served.

As they ate, a slide show of images documenting their time at Archbishop Temple Church of England High School played on the big screen.

After the awards ceremony, everyone was up and dancing at the disco.
