AKS pulls out all the stops to raise the ( social media) roof

A Lytham school is taking to social media to make sure no-one misses out on its annual summer concert.

AKS is hosting a free summer concert on Facebook

Musicians and singers from AKS in Lytham were so determined that their musical extravaganza would go ahead that they are planning a Facebook live with a difference .

Tonight, at 7pm, audiences will be able to tune in live to hear

the Chamber Choir, Concert Band, Swing Band, Prep School Choir, 8:Fifteen, The Louis Green Collective and a host of fabulous solo and duet performances take part in the school's first Facebook virtual concert.

AKS is holding a virtual musical concert premiere

The free event will include a spectacular array of individual and group performances, as well as varied styles, including choirs, brass and jazz.

A finale will be provided by the Community Choir which includes students, staff, parents and friends of AKS.
