Thousands of freshers are set to descend on Preston in the coming days and we’ve put together this special guide for their inevitable nights out!

This weekend, the University of Lancashire’s Freshers Week, officially known as ‘Welcome Week’, kicks off.

Running between Sunday, September 20 and Saturday, September 26, freshers will spend the week getting to know their fellow students and their new homes.

A great way to combine those two things together is to go on a good old fashioned night out so we’ve scoured online reviews to find the best bars and clubs for freshers to try out.
