Vincents Solicitors launches six Cash for Kids collection points

A Lancashire law firm is backing this year’s Cash for Kids campaign with six donation stations.
Each of Vincents Solicitors’ branch offices is welcoming gifts and cash donations for the charity which helps disadvantaged children across the country.
Cash for Kids’ new campaign is Mission Christmas which aims to help Santa make sure every child wakes up with a gift on Christmas Day.
Toys, games, books, toiletries and money donated to the appeal by December 17 will be taken to the main collection hubs by Vincents staff, to be distributed by the charity.

Jemma Lloyd, head of Vincents’ Penwortham branch, said the staff are excited to be taking part.
She said: “We have such a brilliant team here at Vincents, so many people said they wanted to do something meaningful for Christmas, and loads put forward Cash for Kids. It’s a no brainer isn’t it?
"Christmas is all about children, and about giving, and this allows us to make our own contribution to help youngsters living in poverty have something special for the big day.”
Members of the community can join the firm’s staff and clients in dropping off donations at any of six branch offices:

Winckley Square, Preston;
Liverpool Road, Penwortham;
Vicarage Road, Poulton;
Park Street, Lytham;
Ackhurst Business Park, Chorley;
And Rope Walk, Garstang.
Cash4Kids is also happy to accept donations via it’s Gift List which is available until 18 December, where supporters can choose from a selection of gifts which will be shipped directly to Mission Christmas HQ.
While donations for all age groups are welcome - as the charitysupports children from birth to 18 - it struggle with gifts for babies and teenagers, especially boys, and is appealing for donations for those groups.
Sophie Mercer, head of the Poulton office, said: "We hate to think of any child going without at Christmas, so our team is trying to get as many gifts for teenagers as possible.
"We know they are hard to buy for but they deserve just as much Christmas magic as anyone else.
"We've already received donations and have had lots of clients and people in the local community promise to drop gifts off.
"I'm really looking forward to handing them over to the charity, knowing we've played a small part in spreading some Christmas cheer this year."
