Race Across Lancashire: Inspired by Race Across the World

In the spirit of Race Across the World, Lancashire Women invites adventurers from all walks of life to team up for Race Across Lancashire!
This incredible journey challenges teams to race across our beautiful county—without the luxury of private transport, big budgets, or GPS. Like the show, it’s all about resilience, teamwork, and navigating unexpected twists as you explore Lancashire’s most iconic spots.
Just as in Race Across the World, teams will travel from checkpoint to checkpoint, facing challenges, deciphering clues, and uncovering hidden gems. Armed only with a limited travel budget and their wits, each team will need to strategise, navigate, and work together to reach the finish line. Think public buses instead of taxis, local footpaths instead of motorways, and pure grit in place of luxury!
Inspired by Lancashire’s history, local legends, and the incredible women who have helped shape our community, each stop reveals new stories and earns your team points on the journey to victory.

Beyond the adventure lies a vital purpose: raising essential funds for Lancashire Women. By taking on these challenges and completing the race, teams will also raise awareness and funds that directly support women and families across the county. Every donation, big or small, powers programmes that transform lives—just as every mile you cover brings you closer to the finish line.
If you’ve ever watched Race Across the World and thought, “I could do that,” now’s your chance! Gather your team, lace up your boots, and join the race for Lancashire Women.
The race is on. Will you answer the call?
