Richard Clarke, who we reported on only last month, as seen his books hit the heights over the last week.

His first book, ‘Calm Pond’, reached its highest ever position at No9 in the short stories for young adults Amazon chart.

Meanwhile his new book, ‘Further Adventures at Calm Pond’ (released on November 16th) as hit No1 with pre sales,in the Hot New Releases Amazon chart for Chapter Books.

A delighted Richard said “I am thrilled the book is doing so well. The publicity it has received has certainly helped its move up the charts. An author does not write for success and profit though (which is a good job!) It is more like teaching, it is a vocation and about making a difference. It is heartwarming that so many parents, carers, and those who work with children, see the value in books and reading to children. I get enormous joy in thinking that children are developing with the help of my book and the important adults in their lives.”

Both Richard’s books are available to purchase on Amazon.
