Hide AdBabs Murphy, chief executive of the Chamber, said: "We congratulate all those elected to Lancashire County Council and look forward to engaging positively and proactively with the new administration.

“For many years the Chamber enjoyed a positive working relationship alongside the county council, and we will continue this positive relationship with the new Reform UK administration.
“These are critical times for business – from addressing infrastructure and skills shortages to unlocking opportunities through inward investment and innovation, there's much to do. We’re ready to support, challenge, and collaborate wherever necessary to help Lancashire thrive."
The Chamber will be seeking early dialogue with council leaders and cabinet members to discuss shared priorities, including transport connectivity, town centre regeneration, support for SMEs, and the future of devolution and local government reform.
Babs added: "Strong public-private sector collaboration is vital to Lancashire’s future success.
"Together, we can build a more resilient, competitive, and connected county."
