It said its popular drive-thru in Port Way is undergoing a refurbishment and will remain closed for around three weeks.

It has been closed since Tuesday, October 27 and was expected to reopen on Friday, November 13, but KFC said it was unable to confirm the reopening date at this stage.

A KFC spokesman said: "Fear not Preston, our restaurant is only closed temporarily for a planned refurbishment, and we’ll be reunited again really soon."
