Some sectors are also experiencing a sharp rise in demand due to the coronavirus pandemic, including funeral directors and the NHS.

Care assistants are needed on a temporary basis across Preston

1. Funeral service crew, Co-Op

Pay: £9.13 per hour

Location: Lancashire-wide

- Collect the deceased from a range of locations and scenarios in a professional, empathetic and dignified manner

Fruit and veg farms across Lancashire are hiring due to an increase in demand during the coronavirus pandemic

- Form part of the funeral service – bearing coffins and driving funeral vehicles in a dignified and professional manner

2. Operation Nightingale Hospital in Manchester city centre

- A number of 3-person teams are needed urgently to help transform the centre into an overflow hospital for coronavirus patients.
