A Lancashire digital expert has urged businesses to continue to harness the power of technology even after restrictions of the coronavirus pandemic.

Mark Oulson-Jenkins executive producer at Studio RTR, said businesses had made huge strides in exploiting digital technologies to cope with the restrictions placed upon them in the past year.

He said firms had found new ways to sell and promote their goods and services.

Mr Oulson-Jenkins said: “It would be a mistake to forget about the benefits digital technology has brought once we return to normal.

“Businesses have been able to reach their customers in a way they perhaps had never thought before the pandemic, and this can still be a strength even after restrictions are lifted.

“There are so many great digital marketing and design agencies out there in Lancashire with the expertise to really help firms from all sectors to advantage of these opportunities, and we cannot wait to meet them during this year’s BIBAs journey.”
