Swingers' club set to open in Preston

'‹A new swingers' club is set to open in Preston.

Club Entice is advertising its grand opening this weekend.

The new venue is situated in Aqueduct Street and has a new website proudly showing off its facilities.

But now it appears the venue has not yet got full licensing permission so the opening looks likely to be delayed.

The new club is set to open six days a week and says it offers a safe and well-run environment for its members.

Its website boasts: “Club Entice brings to you a club to fulfil your wildest dreams, hidden away in a discreet location with adequate parking.”

Operator Carl Glackin says on the Club Entice website: “This has been in the planning for over four years and only through feedback from yourselves, have I pursued the idea of creating something for swingers that I genuinely believe in.

“Finding the correct location was paramount with ease of access for everyone to attend.

“The rail links to Preston and the fact we are only 10 minutes off the main M6 route make this an ideal location, adding to this is the location of local hotels within a short distance.

“I have tried to brighten up the lounge to get away from the stereotypical club and include a full-size dance floor and state of the art DJ area , sound system and lighting rigs for our already infamous parties at other venues.”

But a Preston Council spokesman said today: “The council is awaiting a transfer application for the alcohol licence from the new operators at this premises. Once this is received, the venue can open as planned.”

Mr Glackin told the Post work on the building had been delayed and the opening may have to be postponed.
