Shock as top Preston eaterie closes
One of Preston's best-known restaurants, Duk-Pond, has suddenly closed
The news has stunned food-lovers across the city.
The popular Cross Street eaterie confirmed the news today on twitter.
The restaurant, run by Andrera Mellon, tweeted: “It is with enormous sadness yet with pride & admiration for my team, customers & support network, I must advise you dukpond is now closed.”
It is thought to be a commercial decision.
Preston Business Improvement District tweeted that Duk-Pond would be sorely missed in the city
