The shop, believed to be the branch at Deepdale Retail Park, is amongst the latest batch to be axed after the discount firm called in the administrators last month.

They will all shut down on Tuesday July 24, with 531 jobs to go - 18 of those in Preston.

Deloitte confirmed the closures but said talks continue to try and salvage parts of the company.

Deloitte has said discussions continue between the administrators and interested parties for the potential sale of part, or parts, of the remaining business.

Clare Boardman, joint administrator, said: “We would like to thank all the employees for their continued support and commitment during this difficult time.
