Police surround Lancaster bank following incident

A police cordon has been put in place around Barclays Bank in Market Street, Lancaster.

A police spokeswoman said initial reports are that a burglary has taken place sometime this morning, Thursday December 5.

Eyewitnesses say that drones are being used to survey the roof of the building, and an alleyway leading into Sun Square has also been cordoned off.
