New burger bar set to open in Preston's Miller Arcade

Iceburg will be based in Miller Arcade in the city centre.

The new venue is set to open within the next few weeks.

But no firm date has been given.

The operators behind the new burger bar are connected to Heavenly Desserts, situated next door.

A new website for Iceburg has been set up, with its new logo proclaiming “Burgers, Shakes”.

An image of how the venue would look inside has been uploaded.

Followers are advised to keep their eyes out for announcements.

A notice advertising for staff has gone up in the window at Miller Arcade.

It is believed around 20 jobs will be created.

The restaurant has promised its food will be made fresh each day with the finest of ingredients.

The decor is promised to be “ something different.”

The Miller Arcade was the first indoor shopping centre in Preston, built in the 1890s.

Heavenly Desserts opened in the Arcade late last year.

The cafe was the latest incarnation of a popular brand which specialises in sweet treats.

It already had outlets in Birmingham, Leicester, Derby and Nottingham.

Heavenly Desserts describes itself as “a unique brand dedicated to bringing the most luxury products, distinctive quality and extensive range of beautiful desserts to the market, made with care and the highest craftmanship.”
