Longridge Gallery offers not just art but chance to win a car

A Longridge art business has an unusual offer this week – buy a print and you can (maybe) win a car.

But be aware it’s not just any print. The offer applies to prints and sculptures by artist Doug Hyde, whose work the Longridge Gallery on Berry Lane has shown since 2004.

The chance to drive away with a distinctive Fiat 500 coincides with Doug’s new summer collection entitled Great Escape.

A gallery spokesman said: “A new summer collection from Doug Hyde is always an exciting event. This August Doug is setting off on a Great Escape with some familiar faces and much-loved pals. And every Great Escape needs a getaway car…”

Purchasers of limited edition prints from the collection will be entered into a prize draw, along with purchasers from other galleries. The promotion lasts until August 21 and prices start at £375 for a framed print.
