The convenience store opened yesterday (Tuesday, April 7) at the former Luxe Interiors and Shutters store in Woodplumpton Road, Lane Ends, Ashton.
The single-storey unit, which lies close to the junction with Blackpool Road and Tulketh Brow, was previously a branch of Booths before the supermarket closed down a decade ago.
The store’s owner said: “We’re excited to finally open the doors to your new Nisa.
“It did take a bit longer than expected, but we wanted to get everything just right — and we’re really happy with how it’s turned out.
“We’ve got some crazy deals in store right now and free private parking is available for customers.
“Everyone is welcome to pop in, say hello, shop around and see what we’ve been working on.”
Nisa is the common brand shared by a network of more than 2,500 independently-owned retailers nationwide.
The company functions as a groceries wholesaler, having been formed as the Northern Independent Supermarkets Association back in 1977.
