Home builder's two new sites in Lancashire

Jones Homes Lancashire, has announced it will start construction at Hoyles Lane in Cottam and Clayongate Drive in Penwortham after planning consent was granted for both sites.

In Cottam, the four acre site will see 48 properties built.

Known as Ribbleswood Chase, the new development will see a number of bungalows built, including two bedroom semi-detached bungalows, plus three and four bedroom detached dormer bungalows.

There will also be a mix of three bedroom mews, plus four and five bedroom semi-detached and detached properties.

John Roocroft, Regional Director at Jones Homes Lancashire, said: “There will be a superb selection of house styles available, which not only creates a unique and characterful street scene, but also ensures the development meets the housing requirements of local homebuyers and provides them with plenty of choice.

“We made a conscious decision to include bungalows at Ribbleswood Chase as we believe there is a strong place for them in the Preston property market.”

The site in Penwortham, which is 0.99 hectares, will be transformed into a development of 20 new build homes. Known as Greenhill Gate, the development will provide a range of two, three and four bedroom properties, including both semi-detached and detached houses.

John added: “We are also delighted to have received planning consent for Greenhill Gate in Penwortham.

“We are already receiving lots of interest. The location of the development is perfect, close to excellent schools and only a short drive from Preston city centre. It is also near South Ribble Borough Council’s new Central Parks which provides foot and cycle links direct to Preston.”
