Garage named the best in the country at industry awards

Held at Twickenham Stadium, Weldbank was up against five other garages in a highly competitive category but thanks to its voters, it was able to take home the highly respected, industry award.

After encouraging Lancashire motorists to get behind the independent garage, the local community responded, helping secure the win for Weldbank by voting via CAT magazine’s online form.

The family run business, which is in Saville Street, Chorley, was one of the first in the UK to offer local motorists the benefits of a TerraClean service.

The deep vehicle engine clean reduces emissions and miles per gallon, as well as improving performance and fuel economy.

Weldbank Garage proprietor, Tony Waring, said: “We’d like to thank everyone who got behind us and helped to bring this prestigious award back to Lancashire.
