Fully equipped Fishergate takeaway for sale in Preston city centre - what you get for £55,000
A takeaway in the heart of Preston city centre has hit the market with a sale price of £55,000.
Situated in Victoria Buildings - a prime spot opposite the entrance to Fishergate Shopping Centre - the takeaway is still trading as Heyman Express, a franchise partner of the Heyman Food Arcade brand.

However, this is not a franchise resale and does not include rights to the previous trading name. A rebrand is required and the current leaseholder is seeking to offload the unit after relocating to London.
The new owner would put their own stamp on the fast food outlet, with the “well-equipped and well-located business” being sold on a leasehold basis with nine years remaining on a 10-year lease.
The sale price is £55,000 with a current rent of £14,000 per annum.
The value of the stock and assets included in the sale are worth approximately £15,000.

The takeaway is still open and trading as Heyman Express with two members of staff.
Sabih Ajaz, advertising the sale on Facebook, said: “This is an exciting opportunity to acquire a fully operational and modern takeaway situated in the heart of Preston's bustling city centre.
“Ideally positioned opposite the Fishergate Shopping Centre entrance, just a short walk from Preston Train Station.

“With high daily footfall from both shoppers and commuters, the location is ideal for fast food, takeaway, and delivery services. Surrounded by other national retailers, it's perfectly positioned to attract a constant stream of customers throughout the week.

“The current setup was established under a franchise-style partnership but is now offered as a standalone opportunity due to the owner relocating to London.
“The site is fully fitted and ready for immediate occupation, making it ideal for an independent operator or growing food brand looking for a central Preston base.
“With established listings on Google, Just Eat and Uber Eats, the groundwork has already been laid for digital visibility and online orders. The business is currently operated by two staff members and is trading successfully with a strong customer base.”
