For sale: Preston real ale pub for under £55k
The award-winning Ale Emporium, in the university quarter of Preston, has been put on the market with an asking price of just £54,950.
The bar, which attracts ale fans from far and wide to the city centre with its range of up to 10 beers at a time, was voted Pub of the Year by the Central Lancashire branch of CAMRA in 2015. It is also a former Post Pub of the Year.

It is also said to be a “great investment,” in a “fantastic location” and, at less than £55,000, offers “outstanding value.”
“The bar serves real ale to the growing number of people who love the drink and does very well out of it,” says the sales blurb.
With a turnover of £211,000, the bar is leasehold.
