The Be Inspired Business Awards, the BIBAs, said it will be appointing businesses to deliver everything from wireless internet to flowers and flooring to catering for its ceremony in September.

Lancaster-based The Networking People (TNP) provides a wireless internet connection at The Blackpool Tower Ballroom where it will host its annual ceremony, while Burnley firm The Mad Florists supplies flowers handed to winners on the night.

Today the BIBAs will inform its applicants which of them have made the first round of judging which gets under way on May 14.

TNP spokesman Paul Astle said: “To see the winners of the BIBAs sharing their moments in the spotlight across social media due to the wireless network we have set up in the Tower, is a very rewarding and amazing moment for us.”

For the past three years, the BIBAs has spent more than £140,000 with suppliers from across the county which organisers expect to match this year.
