This week pub beer gardens reopened as the country moved to step 2 of the government's 'roadmap out of lockdown' on April 12.

As well as pubs and other hospitality venues, non-essential retail, hairdressers and gyms also welcomed customers back

The changes mean that people enjoying a drink won't need to order a substantial meal, although customers must order, eat and drink while seated ('table service').

Wider social contact rules will apply in all these settings to prevent indoor mixing between different households.
