Say 'Hola' to a new way of snacking in Preston
The local businessman wants to whisk customers off to sunny Spain with an authentic Pintxos dining experience - the first in the county.
Pintxos - pronounced pinchos -are small pieces of bread with tasty toppings secured with a cocktail stick and are traditionally eaten as snacks in bars in the Basque region.

Hide AdAnthony, who has a passion for Spain and its food, is planning to bring the idea to a stylish new Preston eaterie overlooking the Flag Market this summer.
And he admits he is excited to be at the heart of what he feels will soon be a reinvigorated city centre despite the closure of some big stores.
“Preston will change and I think it will be an incredibly exciting place to be,” he said. “I want us to be among the first to take that leap of faith and open up there.
"Hopefully we will bring people something new, a little taste of Northern Spain in the city.”

Hide AdPreston-born Anthony has a cookery background, having worked in restaurants including the Cafe Bar and Verdes in Eccleston. He even won on an episode of the TV show Come Dine With Me four years ago.
He has decided to return to the food industry after selling a successful facilities management company recently.
“One of my big passions has always been food,” he said. “I love Spain and I want to bring that informal style of eating into the city centre.
"I want he food to be phenomenal, the vibe to be great, the music to be quintessentially Spanish or Latin and the atmosphere to be brilliant.”
