The 25,000 sqft store has been six months in the making, after plans were passed in 2017

It is the first supermarket Tesco has opened in six years and has “the best of everything”, according to store manager Julian Blissett.

Motor access to the shop will be off Liverpool Road, with pedestrian access also available via a new linkway to Alcester Avenue and off Cop Lane.
