From Sunday (August 9), travelling by bus in Blackpool will cost £1.90 or £2.40 per trip, making it easier for customers to know the cost of their journey before travelling.

Tram customers will benefit from a £2.10 flat fare for any journey, meaning journeys between Starr Gate and Fleetwood will cost 80 pence less than they normally would.

“We’re also making travel cheaper for young people, with customers aged 16 to 21 now able to benefit from reduced price tickets. Children’s tickets will stay at the same great value too,”

“We’re probably the only bus or tram company in the UK to have reduced our prices following the Covid emergency. We care about our town and we want to do everything we can to help restart Blackpool’s economy.”

For regular public transport users, Blackpool Transport’s adult saver ticket prices are also reducing in price, making it possible to travel anywhere on the Fylde coast and as far as Preston from just £1.80 per day.
