Blackpool care company wins award for third year running

A Blackpool-based care at home company has been recognised as one of the top 20 in the UK for the third year running.

With 678 home care groups in the UK, Alcedo Care bosses were delighted to retain the award, which is based solely on reviews from the people they care for, plus their family and friends.

The team at Alcedo’s Liverpool and Southport offices also won awards for being one of the Top 20 home care providers in the North West, of which there are 1,053.

Run by husband and wife team, Andy and Jo Boardman, the company is expanding at pace and aims to double in size over the next 12 months with the recruitment of more than 1,000 new carers.
