It’s just nine weeks until Christmas, and staff at Barton Grange Garden Centre have been working tirelessly like Santa’s elves to prepare for this year’s Christmas preview evening.
Taking place on Thursday, October 22, from 5pm to 9pm, the event will give customers the chance to enjoy a complimentary glass of festive fizz and a mince pie, alongside live music and entertainment. Visitors will also get a first look at this year’s festive trends, decorations, gifts and seasonal inspiration.
Speaking ahead of the event, David Fawcett-Ropner, display manager at Barton Grange, said: “We’re getting ready for our Christmas open evening, and our main theme this year is very much based around children.
“One of this year’s themes is a fantasy called Peppermint Palace, which is all candy canes and houses. Another theme is Mystical Forest, with the concept behind this being reindeer coming out of a forest, through the gates, all in white and blue. Again, it’s a bit of a fantasy look.
“We also have a Gruffalo range, which is a concept that we’ve never done before. We have Winnie the Pooh and, for the traditionalists among you, we’ve got London Calling!”
As well as the Christmas preview evening, customers will be able to take advantage of late-night shopping, 4pm to 8pm, Tuesday to Saturday, from November 14 to December 19.
Ahead of the free Christmas preview evening, we were given an exclusive first look at this year’s festive displays.
