Ahead of the 2024 season, Blackpool Pleasure Beach has revealed ten of the weirdest and wackiest items that have been found in the park.
It's no secret that guests regularly mistakenly drop things from rides and leave belongings on benches - whether it be from an unzipped pocket or a forgetful friend - but sometimes the missing items aren't as typical as you may think.
Of course the amusement park has seen its fair share of iPhones, wallets, keys and handbags, but with 175 years' worth of thrillseekers stepping through its doors, Blackpool Pleasure Beach is no stranger to a rogue, out-of-place item!
Let's dive in to 10 of the strangest items Blackpool Pleasure Beach employees have found:

6. Santa hat found in June
Hats are worn for many occasions; weddings, cold weather, uniform and even keeping the sun off your head. It would be reasonable to assume that wearing a hat to an amusement park isn’t out of the ordinary, weather conditions considered, however a Santa hat may not fall under those parameters. Especially when found in June! | Amr Serag

7. Swimming goggles and a cap
Valhalla notoriously soaks guests – in fact it has actually won awards for doing just that! However, goggles and a swimming cap may be a small step too far. | Andrea Piacquadio

8. Wigs
The UK’s tallest rollercoaster, speeds of up to 82mph and situated right on Blackpool’s windy seafront – it’s no wonder staff have found wigs beneath the Big One. | Markus Spiske
