Discount wholesalers JC's Bargain Buys shut Leyland unit on Lancashire Business Park due to parking complaints

“Please do not listen to the rumours, we are not closing!...”

A discount wholesaler has closed its store in Leyland due to parking complaints from neighbouring businesses.

JC’s Bargain Buys have closed their unit on Lancashire Business Park, but continue to operate online and say a new store will be opening in the coming weeks.

The retailer offers a huge range of products at discount prices and co-owners Kate and Jordan say trade has soared in recent months. But increased demand has reportedly led to complaints from other businesses about customer parking at the unit in Centurion Way.

They have now closed the unit to the public and have confirmed they are moving to a new location in Clayton-le-Woods with more parking space.

However, the Leyland store remains open as a click and collect point for online orders and free delivery is also available in the local area.

They said: “We’ve got some exciting news… the SHOP is moving to a brand-new location. And don’t worry, as we’re only moving five minutes away from Centurion Way.

“We honestly didn’t expect to move the shop side of the business again so soon. But we’ve found a location that just works so much better for us and fixes a lot of the issues we currently have.

“Once you see it, you’ll understand exactly why we’ve made the move!”
