What's On: North Fylde Photographic Society, 03 February 2026
The North Fylde Photographic Society (NFPS) is delighted to be welcoming another award-winning professional photographer who will be sharing his insights into a facet of landscape photography that particularly interests him.
Date: Tuesday, 3 February 2026 | Presenter: Mark Gilligan FBIPP | Title of presentation: In His Element
Mark has lived and worked in the Lake District and Eryri (Snowdonia) over the past four decades and, though now based in Cheshire, can still access both National Parks easily to deliver his bespoke workshops and courses on landscape photography. His presentation will look at how the drama of mountainous landscape can be captured throughout the seasons and in all weathers whilst preserving the integrity of the ‘true’ landscape with minimal post-processing. Check out Mark’s website and blog at wastwaterphotography.co.uk/about/mark-gilligan and then come along to meet the man himself.
Venue: church hall, The Church of St Martin and St Hilda, Carleton (adj. Castle Gardens pub) | Time: 19:30 | Entry fee: £2.00 for members/£3.00 for non-members
