The Trio consist of three local RNCM-trained musicians. Philip Kubilius (piano) is a successful concert pianist and Head of Keyboard at Blackburn School of Music for more than 20 years. Violinist Gaynor Sutcliffe organises and plays at Knowle Green chamber music concerts, but found international fame with her Bluegrass fiddling. And Robert Buller principal cellist and soloist with many orchestras in the North West.

The programme starts with Novak’s Trio Quasi una Balleta and continues with Dvorak’s popular ‘Dumky’ piano trio. After the interval is Suk’s Elegie and finally Smetana’s G minor piano trio.
