All three comedies, which star Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, are linked through their stories of friendship between men and getting older as well as a Cornetto being bought by one of the main characters in each film.

In Shaun Of The Dead, hapless loser Shaun is already having a bad day when a zombie apocalypse actually turns his fortunes around.

Hot Fuzz follows Nicholas Angel, one of London’s top cops, who’s transferred to a village, seemingly the epitome of English gentility until residents begin dying in suspicious accidents.

In The World’s End, which can also be seen separately at The Dukes on August 9 and 11-15, Pegg and Frost reunite with a group of childhood friends to recreate an epic pub crawl from their youth. As the night progresses, they soon realise that something is deeply wrong with the locals.

The show starts at 5pm with tickets priced from £10 available from the Box Office on 01524 598500 or online at www.dukes-lancaster.org.
