Since the start of June, ice skaters from across the globe have been taking to the ice for this year’s production, Allure.

The world’s most spectacular ice show is back at The
Arena for the 2013 season and it is one of the biggest
productions yet.

It premieres tomorrow and the opening night of Hot Ice Show has sold out but there are tickets available for
performances throughout the rest of the season.

Internationally-renowned ice skaters are being put through an intense rehearsal period by producer and
director Amanda Thompson OBE with choreography by Stageworks Creative
Director Antony Johns and former Finnish champion Oula Jaaskelainen.

The world’s longest running ice show is a journey through the senses, with spectacular and death-defying moves over the ice, in costumes which will amaze and dazzle and music which will leave you wanting more.

This year’s production sees a number of faces retuning to the Hot Ice Arena including US Champion Carly Donowick and Dancing On Ice star Katie Stainsby plus a number of new faces including UK pairs champions Louise Walden and Owen Edwards, Blackpool-born Charlotte Waring and Russian figure-skating champions Taras Manko and Timofey Obleukhov.

As ever, the ice skaters will take part in the high-energy show and audience members will be close to the action as the skaters amaze with their slick salchows and awesome axel jumps.

Producer and director Amanda Thompson OBE said of this year’s show: “Once again Hot Ice is proving to be the hottest show around with some of the best ice skaters on the planet. Rehearsals have been going really well and I am delighted with the cast who are showing real enthusiasm for some of the fantastic scenes we have planned.

“I am really excited about Allure and all the hard work and showmanship which is going into this production will make audiences want to come back and see it again and again.”

It runs until September 7, except Sundays. See www.hoticeshow.com.
