Sean Keefe’s quest included travelling the length of the Lancaster Canal in a pedalo, cycling from Edinburgh to Preston to promote the Preston Tringe and appearing on Countdown.

Keefe, a professional musician from Arkwright Road, Deepdale, then performed a show, 40 Things, to tell the story of his adventures at last year’s Preston Tringe.

But Keefe didn’t quite manage all 40 things, so now the quest starts to manage the final three, before performing the show as part of Korova Art Cafe & Bar’s, Korova Against Cancer night, on March 29.

Among Sean’s 40 things, was to get Noddy Holder to call him, but he’s still patiently waiting for a phone call. So, if you know or have a contact for Noddy you could help Sean.

The night has been set up by Korova to raise money for Helen Rollason Cancer Charity. The venue is also opening the floor for other performers to participate, as well as hosting an open art exhibition throughout the second half of March and start of April.

Venue owner Sam Buist said that the aim of the campaign was to bring the arts together in Korova, to help raise funds for the battle against cancer. Korova Against Cancer will run from 7pm to midnight on March 29, with 40 Things running from 8pm.
