The February Frog & Bucket comedy club date at the venue, compered by Jonathan Mayor, brings three more highly-individual stand-up comics to the city, with a variety of styles to match.
Geordie Kai Humphries, Harriet Dyer – who has already been playing warm-up dates at the city’s Korova arts and café bar earlier this year – and Scouser Chris McCausland guarantee laughs aplenty.
In 2010, Kai made his TV debut on Comedy Central’s The Comedy Store, barely 18 months after his first time on stage.
Last year Harriet, right, took her show Barking at Aeroplanes to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
