It is safe to say that Matt Corner steals the show with his electric voice and his huge range of vocals.

The show follows the ups and downs of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons as they rise to stardom, all the way up to a place in the Rock’n’Roll Hall of Fame.

But there is a darker side to this story, and at the beginning of the show we are shown glimpses or their notorious mobster backgrounds.

Matt Corner takes the role of Frankie and it is fair to say that he all-but steals the show with his amazing vocal range.

Hits like Beggin, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Can’t Take my Eyes off You and Bye Bye Baby went down a storm with an audience, which at times struggled to contain themselves.

The band’s smooth and angelic harmonies were in sharp contrast to their bad boy attitudes and tough lives.

Although the show contained witty, laugh-out-loud comedy throughout, this was broken up with some sombre scenes.

Family, brotherhood and heritage are prominent themes in the story – although by ‘family’ the boys clearly focus on themselves as a family, rather than their actual neglected families back home.

The absence of a large female role is not missed, as the four boys are able to make up for it with their voices and the intoxicatingly catchy, timeless music.

As the show progresses the crowd find it harder and harder to sit still, with initial feet tapping, humming and bopping of heads to a standing ovation followed by a final boogie to the hit song Oh What a Night’, which indeed it was.
