Telling stories at the Story
Litfest starts with haunting storytelling and dazzling musicianship combined for a unique retelling of The Mabinogi, the oldest stories of Britain on Friday February 7 at 8pm. Tickets are £10/£8.
On Friday, March 14, Jane Routh will host a book launch for Falling into Place.

Hide AdJane will read from the book about a small area of land in the Forest of Bowland and joined by Cumbrian writer and photographer Ian Hill. This free event starts at 7.30pm. Booking is advisable.
Performance storyteller Sally Pomme Clayton will be merging myth, fairy tale and raucous Greek philosophy in Eros and Psyche on Friday, April 4.
The event starts at 8pm. Tickets cost £10/£8 concessions (for ages 18 and over).
Promoting the best of regional poetry will be April Poets on Thursday, April 10.

On Friday June 6, you can expect some intense storytelling in Mr Sandmann with Internationally renowned performer Ben Haggarty. Tickets cost £10/£8 concessions.
Litfest is also hosting an evening with Sixfold, reading poems based on Lancaster, the River Lune and the world beyond.
The event takes place on Friday, June 13 at 7.30pm.
