Superstar for Hippo’s 100th

Pendle Hippodrome Theatre Company’ is to mount an ambitious production of Jesus Christ Supers†ar later this year.

The celebrated Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, to be performed at the Hippodrome from October 7 to 11, dramatises the last seven days in the life of Jesus.

The Hippodrome this year celebrates its 100th birthday.

To mark this milestone history the theatre will host a Gala Centenary Evening on September 20 at 7-30pm.

A specially commissioned film charting the 100 years will be premiered followed by a buffet style three- course dinner, music and cabaret.
