Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men back on stage
Centre Stage Theatre Company are to revive last year’s successful fund-raising production of John Steinbeck’s classic Of Mice and Men.
Last year two performances at Lytham’s Lowther Pavilion attracted full houses and raised cash for Brian House Children’s Hospice.
Company member Lynda Clarkson said: “The production went brilliantly.
“There were queues at the box office and we had to turn people away. One lady was so desperate to see the production she went into the auditorium asking if anyone had a spare ticket!
“Luckily she managed to find one. We have been in negotiations with Lowther and are once again putting the play on, this time for schools as it is on the school curriculum.
