Last year two performances at Lytham’s Lowther Pavilion attracted full houses and raised cash for Brian House Children’s Hospice.

Company member Lynda Clarkson said: “The production went brilliantly.

“There were queues at the box office and we had to turn people away. One lady was so desperate to see the production she went into the auditorium asking if anyone had a spare ticket!

“Luckily she managed to find one. We have been in negotiations with Lowther and are once again putting the play on, this time for schools as it is on the school curriculum.

“This will be at the Lowther on February 10 and 11, with two matinee performances both days at 10am and 1pm.

“We are also doing a one-off public performance on Wednesday February 12 at 7.30pm.

“The response has been great and the whole cast are looking forward to performing this fantastic play again.”

Tickets cost £6 and can be booked by visiting www.lowtherpavilion.co.uk/
